Itinerary:
Travelohouse Kailash Tour Itinerary:
Day 01: Arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu (1350m) Upon arrival at TIA Kathmandu, our representative will be there with your name card to greet you. You’ll be transferred to a 4-star hotel. In the evening, there will be a briefing about Kailash and Nepal.
Day 2: Fly to Nepalgunj (150m/492ft) and Visit Pashupatinath Temple Begin your day with a morning visit to the sacred Pashupatinath Temple. Afterward, transfer to the domestic airport for a flight to Nepalgunj by Yeti / Buddha Airlines. Transfer to hotel. Nepalgunj is known for its hot temperature.
Day 3: Fly to Simikot and Rest for Acclimatization Take an early morning flight to Simikot by Tara / Sita Airlines. Upon arrival, transfer to Sun Valley Resort or a similar hotel. Simikot, situated in a mountainous region, offers a day for acclimatization. After lunch, you can visit Shiva Mandir by foot.
Day 4: Helicopter Flight to Hilsa and Drive to Purang Embark on a helicopter flight to Hilsa, followed by a walk over the Karnali River to enter the Kailash region. After immigration procedures on the China/Tibet side, drive to Purang by bus. Spend the evening exploring the market.
Day 5: Drive to Holy Lake Manasarovar Travel by bus to Lake Manasarovar, passing by Rakshas Taal en route. Begin the Parikrama of Mansarovar, covering 105km, followed by a holy bath and Puja.
Day 6: Drive to Darchen (Kailash Base Camp) A short 45-minute drive by bus takes you to Darchen, the starting point for the pilgrimage to Kailash Base Camp. Spend the evening exploring the small town.
Day 7: Drive to Yama Dwar and Trek to Diraphuk After breakfast, drive to Yama Dwar, the gateway to the Parikrama. Trekking to Diraphuk takes around 5-6 hours, offering stunning views of Mt. Kailash. HALTS: Guesthouse Remarks: Drive 2 hours, trek 5-6 hours
Day 8: Trek to Zuthulphuk via Dolma La Pass Start uphill trekking to Dolma La pass after breakfast. Descend to Zuthulphuk, passing by the holy Lake Gauri Kund.
Day 9: Trek to Zhongdo and Drive to Purand / Hilsa Trek to Zhongdo, then drive to Purang / Hilsa by coach.
Day 10: Fly to Simikot – Nepalgunj – Kathmandu Take a helicopter flight to Simikot, then continue to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj.
Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Exclusions from the 11-Day Kailash Pilgrimage Tour:
- International Airfare: Flights to and from your home country to Kathmandu are not included.
- Travel Insurance: Comprehensive travel insurance is required but not provided and must be purchased separately.
- Visa Fees: Fees associated with obtaining necessary visas for Nepal and China/Tibet are not covered.
- Personal Expenses: Costs for additional meals outside the provided itinerary, beverages, snacks, and personal shopping.
- Additional Activities: Optional tours and activities not outlined in the fixed itinerary.
- Tips and Gratuities: Gratuities for guides, drivers, and porters, which are optional and at the traveler’s discretion.
- Emergency Evacuation: Any costs related to medical evacuations or the use of additional transportation for emergency purposes.
- Healthcare and Medication: Medical treatments, vaccinations, and personal medications are not included.
- Extra Accommodation: Additional nights’ accommodation beyond the set itinerary, if required.
- Miscellaneous Fees: Any other fees not mentioned in the inclusions such as telephone calls, laundry services, and other personal conveniences.
